Sig refinish

I've been told that the frame of Sigs can not be refinished. I came across on pretty decent priced police trade ins but they have marks all over the place. How did Sig originally coat the alloy? Does anybody know a gunsmith that can refinish the frames? Thanks.

Had my Sig (226) refinished with Black-T (W.E. Birdsong and Assoc), and I couldn't be happier. Had a couple of small scratches on the frame (along the rails) that are gone now. Should be no problem refinishing your Sig.

Walt and crew applied his Black T to a P220 I had. Did my tu-toned- olive green frame and black slide. Highly recommed Birdsong and Assoc.

If I remember correctly, the price is $155 for the complete Sig (and I do mean complete--everything except the bore/chamber) plus 2 mags. That includes return FedEx shipping.

No website. You have to call direct.
