i'm pretty new to the gun scene and just bought my first one this morning. i read a lot of good stuff about the pro and it felt good when i went to shoot it. the store had them on sale for $429, did i get a good deal? does anyone have any good/bad experiences with them? thanks.

I have had mine for a il over 3 months now.
Its in 357sig its a great handgun. There has been some posts on TFL that they say the gu doesnot go in to full battery. In my case my gun has never ever hd anything go wrong with it. In march i took the 4 day handgun course at Frontsight in Las Vegas and it shot outstanding. All you need now is to get your self a good holster and if you are lawinforce ment or ffl get some hicap mags.
Great gun! good buy!!

You have an excellent weapon at an EXCELLENT price there. Where did you find it that cheep.I have one in .357sig and the only battery problems I ever encountered was with UMC Ammo (NOTE: What crap, I'll never ever subject my beloved newest family member to such garbage again.I have found Collins Cartridge Company in Texas makes the BEST ammo I have ever fired so far in ANY of my weapons PERIOD. I buy the refurbs (which until I found them I would not do) and at 165.00/1000 I'm extremely happy. Consistant loading, Accuracy and operation. Check 'em out at cccammo.com . You will NOT be sorry. Enjoy your new sigpro it is a gem!!!!

Greetings, My expertise on handguns lies with
the Sig-Sauer weapons; however, I have never
owned a SigPro series!!! You got one helle'va
deal. I'm sure some of our member's here on
TFL would like for you to pass on the information regarding that fantastic price.
That's as inexpensive (I don't use the word
cheap), as I have seen.

When you get tired of the SigPro, step up
to the "P" series of Sig handguns. Why not
own the whole family of Sig's? In the mean
time, enjoy your new purchase!!!

i'm glad i didnt' get ripped off. if anyone's interested, i bought it at trader sports near oakland. i found the special at their website www.tradersports.com under the specials. they had a sale at $479 and then another one at $429. you have to mention the sale thought or else they may charge you regular price. i called ahead of time to make sure i could get the deal, and a lady told me i could. when i went to buy it, the salesperson didn't believe it was $429 and told me it was $479. took him a few minutes to get all their advertisements, and i pointed it out to him. i was going to wait off on buying it, but at that price i couldn't pass it up.
