Sig Pro 9mm

I am extremely interested to know what everyone thinks about the Sig Pro in 9mm. If anybody has any experience with it I would love some input. How does it shoot? How well does it conceal? How durable? etc. Any feedback would be helpful.

Greetings, I have NO experience with the
SigPro series; but I can certainly recommend
the Sig P226 or the P228. :)

I've shot the 2340 and didn't like it one bit and I love Sigs. If you have access to a range that rents them try it first.

I strongly agree with mrat. I owned a SigPro 40 for about a week. Hated the thing. I traded it in on a 226. They are not the same as the other Sigs.

They should call it the "SigPro Send-it-back".

In the Armorer's class your told it's a modular design. If anything goes wrong with the slide, "Send it back". If anything goes wrong with the frame, "Send it back". If anything goes wrong with the fire controls system, "Send it back".

Basically the only thing that can be done outside the factory by an Armorer is changing the grips.

I should also mention that both grips feel awful. The pebbled one is better then the thick smooth one, but they both stink.

Lovly gun...carry one every day. Accurate and
fits my hand. And yes there is not much that
can be fixed on it other than changing the extractor or sights or fire control system.
Most people who don't like 'em usually can't
take them apart or one of the grips don't fit
their hand. Classic Sig's are ok too but the
only one that gets my attention is the 210.

I love the SIG designs generally, hate their execution, and DESPISE the SIG Pro. The only thing they teach in the Armorer's class regarding the Pro is Tactical Shipping.... even for a hammer return spring.....
