Sig P239

Help with trigger enhancement on a new sig? I just purchased a 239 .n .40 and in single action the trigger pull is less quality than desired. There is some "creep" when pulling before the hammer falls in single action. A slight detectable rearward movement in the hammer is noticeable before the hammer falls. Is there any way to correct this? I am use to a nice crisp trigger. The gun is the limited edition rainbow titanium finish. Any help is appreciated. I really do not want to send it back to Sig and do not have a gunsmith in my area-Enid, Oklahoma. Thanks, Cecil

Fieldstrip
Clean and lube all trigger parts
Take to range and fire 500 rounds through the pistol

This will break it in properly. My Sig 220ST had a horrible trigger when I purchased it as well as my 225. After cleaning, range time and dryfire time the trigger smoothed out. :)

SIG triggers are usually pretty good out-of-the-box, but they really shine for me after around 300-500 rounds, PLUS a lot of good dry-firing.

I just picked up a P220 a few days ago. Haven't made it to the range with it yet, but between cleaning, re-lubing, and about 500 dry fires it's already breaking in nicely. Some slight creep that was in the SA pull is nearly gone now, and the DA is much smoother as well.
