Sig P239 Mags $$$'s???

I want some more mags for my wife's sig P239 9mm. The only place that I've found them is at www.cheaperthandirt.com for $29.89 ea / 8rd. Getting tired of switching the HP's loaded for Home Defense to FMJ's to target shoot and then reload the HP's. Is there another source for these mag's at a better price?

Also, should I be concerned about leaving Home Defense mags loaded w/ HP's for an extended period of time. ie - will it weaken the mag spring??

I'm new to semi pistols. My Colt Tropper MKIII doesn't care if I leave on my nightstand loaded for an extended period of time. But then again, it's doesn't stay there for long. ie - I shoot it at least twice a week to relieve tension = mine of course from a long day at work :)

Can't help with Mag prices... but HK P7M8 mags (also 8rds) are $40-50 so it could be worse. More than a few people on more than a few boards have recommended shooting the defensive ammo you leave in your gun at the beginning of your shooting session, so you get an idea for how it shoots. This also prevents the bullets from getting damaged somewhow with constant insertion and extraction.

Pick up a copy of Shotgun News, several advertisers listed carry them. Think I got mine from CDN, $24. They were out of stock, tried back in a couple of weeks. Wish one of the aftermarket manufacturers would make'em, hate dropping factory mags in the dirt for emergency reloads. Funny, they came out with cheap aftermags for the P-245 seemingly before the guns hit the shelf. :confused:
