Does anyone know anything about the Sig P234. Saw one online for sale, but don't know a thing about it. Any info would be appreciated.

Ah, P2340 the dealer said it was a police issue .40. He forgot to add the extra 0 behind the 234 part:rolleyes: Anybody have any experience with these?

The SIG P2340 is a good quality polymer-framed pistol which can be converted to .357SIG by means of a simple barrel change. They are priced below the SIG "Classic" metal-frame pistol line, and have been issued by some LEO agencies. Lots of folks like them. Do a search on http://www.SIGForum.com for "2340" and read the threads; it is a quick way to get up to speed.

Since this isn't the SIG forum I'll risk saying that I prefer the sigpro 2340 and 2009 (9mm) to the P series pistols I've tried. I believe they have superior triggers. I actually enjoy the first double-action pull on mine. I dreaded it on the P series pistol I had. Also about $125-$150 dollars cheaper.
