sig p229 recoil spring ?

Yeah, pretty much all of the pistols chambered for .357 SIG are brass flingers in my experience. Go to Wolff Gunsprings at http://www.gunsprings.com/ and get some springs with a higher rating. I did that for my 229 and 226, tho I honestly don't remember what lb springs are in there at the moment. They might be 19's. Get the recoil calibration pack and see what cycles best for your gun-ammo combination.

thanks i ordered the 19 and the 21 lbs springs.the load is 10.5 grains of bluedot and a 124 rainer fp.the gold dots shoot better but for the price not that much better.there is very little bullet drop with that load it may be a bit warm.the way it shoots im still going to stay with it,thanks, keith

My 229 ejects 357 SIG brass 15-20 feet. As a matter of fact, every SIG in 357 I've seen ejects brass that far.

My GLOCK 19 has that beat though. It'll launch 9mm cases a good 25-30 feet.:p
