Sig P229 in 9mm?

Has anyone dropped a 9mm barrel into a .357/.40 P229 and had good success? I know Bar-Sto makes a barrel but do they work?

I thought you could only interchange calibers if the case head were same or similar size since breech face and extractor are different for different case heads. I think you can interchange 40 S&W and 357 Sig barrels but I don't think you can put a 9mm barrel in 40 or 357sig gun. Or is that wrong?

Well i was one of the first from barsto but still cannot get the barrel, they were suppose to call me if and when they made a batch. for the Sig, it is a simple barrel swap, most guns you cannot do the 9mm swap but with the sig p229 it is ok, head space is kept well. quite a few people did the .357/.40 swap. lots of barrels are available but since demand for the 9mm is low so is the supply, you can even use the .40 mag it holds 12 9mm, I will keep you posted when i get the barrel in, or you can call barsto and they will feel you in.
