Sig P226 prices?

Has anyone seen what the 226 in 9mm is going for recently? A local shop has one for around $690. Is this a good price? It is a NIB 9mm with the new blackened stainless slide.

Also, what kind of prices and availbility can I expect on preban mags?

That may be a fairly accurate price on a Sig 226 with the
stainless slide. My P226 is a two-tone with factory Sig-Lite
night sight's and one hi-cap magazine; and I gave $629.95 for it NIB back in November of 1996.

I've tried to talk them down twice and buy most of my guns from this store, but that's his price and he's stuck to it.

The cheapest price I've seen down here in San Diego has been around that much.

Lucky for me a friend of mine, lamenting over his not-so-thought-out decision to sell his Kimber, sold me his for $450. Trijicon sights, 5 hi-cap mags, and 3 holsters. I felt bad so I gave him an extra $50. Probably one of the best puchases I've ever made.
 
Do you have a Gander Mountain store in your area?

Just two weeks ago I was considering a 226 and they had four of them at the Grand Rapids MI store for $570 in 9mm.
