Sig P226 Magazine question

Hello,
I have a Sig P226 in 9mm, best dang shootin pistol that I own. :D It came with 2 factory 15 rd mags. I am in the market for a couple more.
I've heard about Mec-Gar and that they made the Sig mags. I've also seen many ads for Triple-K. The question is... who has any dealings with Triple-K and what is their quality like? I made the mistake of buying a ProMag.. :(
The after market mags would only be used at the the range.
Thanks for any info. :)

Gun control means hitting your target!!!

My wife uses Ram-Line 15 round mags in her P226. She has been shooting IPSC for several years now with no problems.

And if they ever break, who cares, only ten bucks from Sportsman's Guide.

Tried TripleKs a few years back when I got my first P226. On a scale from 1 - 10, with 1 being the worst, USA mags are 0 (zero), TripleKs gave the USAs a run for their money, but they just fell short of being the worst. (In my experience.)

Went to a gun show recently and a dealer mentioned that SIG recently dropped MecGar as their factory mag manufacturer. Presumably, SIG will once again make their own (a big plus). Have no way of varifying his story. I didn't think that he was throwing me a line because he did not have the P220 mags I was enquiring about to push onto me.

I bought a bunch of Ramline 18 rounders for $20 each about a year ago for my Sig 226, and they have worked flawlessly. I saw that CDNN had some a few months back, give them a call 800 588 9500. They may have some Mec-gars as well.
