Sig P225 and P228 missing link?

Whay is it that the 228 and 225 are not on Sigs web site and why are they only available to law enforcement officers? I much prefer the stamped slide to the milled slide because it feels like it is balanced better.

If those two guns have a contract with many LEO type people then they must be very good, right.
 
The 228 is starting to show up at dealers now that most of the contracts have been filled. The 225 has been discontinued by SIGArms. IMHO, that was a big mistake. I'm just glad there are still a few around so I can salt them away.
