Sig Mosquito Problem

My son has a Sig Mosquito and the gun will not decock. You can push the lever down but nothing happens. Trigger stays cocked. Any ideas on why this is? Thank you

I would think that's a serious safety issue. I would call Sig Monday morning.

Agree. A friend of mine had a problematic Mosquito and SIG did finally get it working for him.

This might sound obvious, but try pushing harder. When I used to own a Sig and would take people shooting who never handled Sig's, they would push the decocking lever down and say it's not working not realizing they needed to use some force beyond what it takes to just push the lever down.

Dragline makes a good point.

There is the initial take ho of the decocker and then the wall. It takes a little bit more of a push to actually decock it.
