Looking for comment's. I have 7 sig's and two different guns a colt defender in 45 cal and a ruger sr1911 I shot the sig's very well so I sold all my glocks because I shot the sig's better so here is my question is it dumb to keep the same gun manufactur. And I'm thinking of putting up my colt and ruger up for consignment to buy another sig because the colt and the ruger just sit in the safe I know the sig's are expensive and heavy that does not bother me any and I carry my sig's all the time any comments will help thanks

I sold almost all my non-1911's because I shoot the 1911's better. Also, swapping from type to type caused me some issues because the manual of arms can be different. Fumbling with your carry gun because your swapping between weapons could be seriously bad juju. I did keep a P220 as it was from a group buy when I was in the military and has my old unit crest engraved on the slide. I only regret letting one of those guns go, a commercial P225.

I'm kinda with you Frankie, love my sigs, if I could afford it I think I would have 2 or 3 of every model they make. I shot them Better than any gun I've shot, my PPQ is close though. I've considered selling my glocks, but just can't quite do that yet. But I would NEVER ever sell any of my sigs.

I really like my West German P226, but having only Sigs in the safe? I agree it would be just too boring for me. I love my 1911's and Smith and Wesson revolvers too much to just shoot one type of gun.

I've been Sigless for probably over two decades. The P220 was the most accurate of all 45autos I've owned but it would choke when dry or almost dry. Needs to run wet (lubed).

Most of my pistols are SIGs because I generally prefer DA/SA guns with frame-mounted decockers. SIG makes more models that match my preferences than any other maker.

When it comes to revolvers, it's Smith & Wesson for me. When it comes to auto pistols, I own more Sig's. However, resently I have been having this luv affair with Berettas. I don't care for plastic guns, though I own one (glock). Just one. It's hard to get more of a modern gun for the money than with a Beretta 92fs. I think Barreta 92sf's are beautifully accurate hand guns that are easy to take-down and clean. CZ's are excellent and are extremely accurate for me to shoot but they loose in ease of takedown and internal machine finish. Sig's cost more $ but are accurate, easy to take down and are beautifully machined handguns. I really love them all and find it hard to be loyal to just one brand, except when it comes to revolvers.

It's not dumb to me. I have quite a few Sigs myself. Although, my favorite carry piece is a Walther PPS 9mm. I tend to carry my Sigs ALOT more between September thru May because of the way I dress conceals the bricks a little better.
