Sig K-Kote

I bought a slightly used P220 a couple of weeks ago with the K-Kote finish. It is in nice shape and I would like to keep it that way. Is there any special care needed? Is there a way to touch-up some slight scratchs?
Will this finish wear well in a holster? Thanks.

You made an excellent choice with your SIG P220...
K-KOTE is GREAT...
You will maintain it like any other SIG...
As far as the scratches and wear, like all handguns the more it is used the more wear will show...
You can have it refinished to cover scratches, but I do not see the sense in that for $$$ reasons...
You have purchased a COMBAT PISTOL and as such it going to get scratched...
It will still shoot the same...

Greetings Big Tim; I have never owned a Sig
finished in K-Kote. As a matter of fact, I
have never even seen one? Any handgun that
see's use in/out of a holdter, duty rig,
fanny pack, etc. will eventually show signs
of wear. As Mr. Montes pointed out, SigArms
will be happy to refinish your P220 for a
fair share price. Congratulations on your
purchase, I hope you enjoy it as much as I
have mine!!!
