Sent a couple in for "full inspection" and trigger jobs, and also a slide reblued. One was a LEO P226 trade-in. What can I expect?

Latest reports are great turnarounds (about 9-10 days) and very complimentary reports. See sigforum.com for details.

Mine was considerably longer, but it was done last year and was a repair, not a maintenance check. Plus, the guy who did it managed to insinuate in his little write up that the gun was kept dirty and ill-lubed. Yeah, it was dirty, I told them I boxed it up as-was and shipped it, and it had plenty of CLP on the slide rails.

But it works fine now, so I really cannot gripe. ;)

I "soak'em" in CLP for the winter. They were sent in that way (I wiped them off a bit). Note that I was told that a "full inspection" includes replacing ALL of the small parts. However, it doesn't say or even infer that on the site, and I was unable to confirm same via a search at sigforum.com. One of them has a broken reset spring and it is way past the one year warranty period.

My prior experience with Sig was in October of 2001. They replaced a slide even though it was 2 years out of warranty AND got the slide to me within 3 weeks (totally unexpected given that all they really needed to do was replace a roll pin on the slide).

Well, they are shipped. We will see. I will post an update when I get them back. Thanks for the feedback.
