Sig Arms "Blue Star"

Well, put down a deposit on a Sig Arms "Blue Star" this morning, delivery should be just after the new year. With a ACOG sight, it didn't max out the Visa, but just about. It has a folding stock, black furniture and a med blue finnish on the rest of the unit, integral bipod, bayonet lug, flash supressor, and adjustable gasport, and since its NOT on the list of restricted or prohibited weapons it is treated the same as a Winchester M70 hunting rifle. Our gun laws are way too confusing!:barf:

Its very close to the prohibited Sig 550, but just different enough not to be on the list.

No expereince with these, but the fit and finnish appears to be absolutley first rate, much nicer than the Robinson I was looking at.

Anybody shoot, or own one of these beauties? If so what can you tell me about them?

If it's anything like the typical 550 line, the accuracy and reliability will be stellar. I read a test a couple years ago in a LE rag where they shot easy 1/2" groups at 100 yards.

Get one now.
