SiG 516, any field reports?

Greetings all,

I am seriously contemplating acquiring the Sig Sauer 516 (big SiG fan), does anyone have any "hands on" experience with the 516?

The AR type rifle debate is endless, so we dont need to go there. I have done my home work, just short of using this rifle, and I like Sig Sauer products. But, I also like Harley Davidson's products, and they have rolled out a few crappy bikes in their time.

Anyone???

Any feedback is always greatly appreciated.

I REALLY REALLY like this rifle- I mean it just GROWS on you....I really like(d) the Sig 556 DMR and came close to borrowing money from a friend for one when we saw it at a store once (he's a rich douchebag Im glad I didn't sell my soul buy I might have... it was a sell-my-soul-to-this-douchebag for the $1,500.... IF IT was sell-out and be this douche's best friend for the $,500 rifle, maybe $500 worth of accessories, and $1,000 for a scope like an AccuPoint, I probably would have jumped)... BUT THiS 516 is REALLY making me love it...

I really think I wanna do 516 and make it a combat carbine with a marksman flair- Magpul it out, maybe run an AFG underneath but with a Bipod in front of the foregrip, nice ACS? stock , and an AccuPoint or even an ACOG oh yeah baby.
