Here's one for ya, I was shoppin around today found a P230 in .32ACP. The clown was askin 650.00! Please tell me this is off base. I know I have seen em for about 350.00 or so.

The one I saw in a shop around here was about $400. It was marked a .380, if I had known it was a .32 I probably would have bought it. I ended up with one in .380 for $300. I'm starting to get a fetish for these things :)

Sox,
I don't know what the list price is on a P230, but I bought one last year for just under $400. The P230 comes in either .32acp or .380.

In 32acp, my preference for carry is a Seecamp and my preference for target shooting is a CZ 83.

If you're interested in a used P230 32acp, drop me a line.

Why would you want a 230 in .32 when you can have it in .380 for the same price? Now the .32 with the manual safety that has been imported in the last year (some police contract style or something) that is selling for 325 or so... That is another story. I would almost buy one of those because it is so cheap. But I would still rather have the .380....

The price was nuts. I love my 230 in 380. The thing to remember is that they love hot ammo.

Why Not Buy...

A Walther PP .32? AIM has them (made in germany) police trade-ins from the 70's-very good condition, mine came with the original box, manual, test target, cleaning rod and 2 mags > all for $210.00! of course YMMV-but it's a great deal!

Two great reasons not to buy the Walther PP is the fact that it is 7 oz. heavier, and it bites my knuckle of my thumb. I finally picked up a P230 today. It is great, 22mm wide at the slide, has a safety, 9 rounds total capacity, super accurate, low recoil, low report. Now I gotta find some goodies. Spare magazine, holster, wood grips.
