SIG 230/232 Magazines

Is it my feeble memory or did the 230 magazine used to have a metal follower and floorplate? My new 232 has a plastic follower and floorplate, but I think I remember my 230, about 5 years ago, having metal (stainless?). Can anyone who has an older 230 tell me? Tried looking for pictures on the web, but I've only found recent pics. Thanks

Mine (about five years old) has steel followers.

My 232 (purchased in May '98) and extra mags I bought in '99 have metal followers. HTH, M2

Thanks, Chris and Mike. Thought for sure those floorplates used to be metal... Guess it was my memory. But I have NO functionality problems with the plastic, just thought the metal floorplates would make a nice touch on my souped-up 232SL.
