Sig .22lr conversion Kits

Sig just came out (at least it's new to me) with a .22 conversion kit for their 1911 models. My only experience with Sig .22 kits has been with a friend's P229 and on that model the slide did NOT lock back on the last shot.

I currently have a Kadet 2 kit and a Beretta conversion kit (factory from CZ and Beretta respectively) and really like the fact that they lock back on the last shot, since the whole point of such a kit is to fully simulate the centerfire version.

I know for the P229, one could buy a replacement follower that would lock it back 1/2 way but once you took the mag out (mag swap) the slide would close on it's own; I felt that was sort of an inelegant solution.

Can anyone tell me if the latest Sig kits (P2xx, 1911 or P938 .22) lock back on the last shot or if there are any mods that would make them do that?

They do not lock back on the last round (I can't speak to the 1911 conversion)... I do have the Black Dog followers in my 226 kit which hold the slide open. It works well enough, and besides that, increases mag capacity by several rounds. Mine has been mostly reliable. A few failures here and there, but I'm okay with that for the ability to train with the exact same frame of my MK25 with SRT and GGI P-SPIT trigger.

Conversely, my M&P22 pistol has been 100% reliable over several thousand rounds of 22... which is basically unheard of. One of my best friends has the Ruger SR22 which is about 1500rds in and also has yet to have a single failure according to him. I'm very impressed.
