Sig 229 vs 226 (.357sig/.40 s&w)

I am looking to purchase a Sig p229 or p226 and recently read somewhere that if you have a p226 and you swap between .357sig/.40 s&w barrels you need different magazines. I also read that the p229 doesn't need different magazines. Can someone with some experience on this matter please help me.

P226, P229, and Sigpro 2340 all use the same magazine for .40 and .357Sig and are marked .40/.357Sig. The P239 is the one that you have to use specific magazines for the different calibers.
 
thanks KOG, I must have got my numbers mixed up. leaning toward the p226 in .357 but havn't shot it yet, going on monday. San Francisco is not a gun friendly town so its hard 'test driving'. Thanks again.
