Sig 226 at 50 meters - Sight Picture

I'm just starting to shoot my Sig 226 at 25-50 meters. I keep having to keep my sights lower than I would have expected.
At first I was shooting way high. Is this typical? What's going on?
At closer ranges my sight picture is what I would expect.

Thoughts ????

my 226 seems to shot dead on at 25 and i'm using a neck/upper chest hold out at 50...i'm shooting the ranger 127gr +p+. i've dropped some rounds into the pelvic area from the 25yd line during qualification...but i think it was more me then anything else.

i shoot better freehand than kneeling from the 25

What are you shooting at? An eight inch gong? A paper target? You have left out too much information for anyone to really help you.

Paper Target 8.5x11 inch.
6" inch circle in the middle.
Standing - Two handed Isosceles

25 meters - Shots going 4" inches high
50 meters - Shots going 6" inches high

now this is getting interesting... which ammo are you using? is this with the stock sights.

a 6" bull is pretty big...have you tried using a 6 o'clock hold or a center hold?
