My favorite neighborhood dealer got about 20 SIG 225s in recently, NIB, factory nights, 3 mags, K-kote. He is selling them for $450 a piece. I told them to put one back yesterday when I called them from out of town. I plan to pick it up today. I am not a SIG fan but this seemed like a very good deal and I hear SIG is discontinuing the model. Complete the deal or tell them no thanks?
 
Go ahead. The price is very good, and the P225 is superbly designed and made. In its class (compact, single stack 9x19) it is not surpassed.
 
Sounds like a good deal. I paid somewhere in the neighborhood of 650 for my 229. As you know, the 225 has a single stack mag. If this is not a problem for you, you should definately take it.
 
Do you have the contact information for the dealer and does he do mail/phone orders through FFL?

I just took delivery of a new P225 today. K-Kote, night sights (yellow rear, green front), two mags for $459.95.

Precision Armory: tel # (281) 379-6881. Yes, he (Mike) will take tele orders and ship to the FFL holder of your choice. He has a website www.precisionarmory.com but it is under construction.

He has additional P225 SIG factory mags for $34.00 ea.

Mike is a good guy...spent time on the phone and delivered what he said he would. Direct from Germany w/German proof marks and the factory test target.

These are excellent prices for a classic SIG. (Yeah, they were cheaper a year ago, but that was then and this is now, and if you figure out a way to cross the two you will be rolling in so much loot it won't matter <g> )
