Sig 220 Grips?

I have a 220 with the black plastic checkered grips. When I handle a 220 with the new pebble grain grips it feels thinner. Are the new style 220 grips thinner? Thanks, hangfar.
 
hangfar; I just got a new P-220. I dunno, they feel about the same width wise to me. I like the new grips but I still think I'll get a set of Hogue's. Best, J. Parker
 
I have the older checkered grips. I just bought a set of Hoge rubber grips, and they're definitely slightly slimmer all around. VERY comfortable, although I liked the original grip too. They make it much easier for my wife to shoot the gun too.

Maybe since they're new Hogues they match the new factory dimensions, but I'd skip straight to Hogue if I were you. There isn't much to improve on a SIG220 anyway and they cost about the same as a set of factory (something like $20 instead of $10 or $15.)
