Sig 220 DAO/DAK

I just sold my Sig 226 because I need another 45acp, as I only have one 45. Also, I do not like the DA/SA type trigger. I would love to have a Sig 220 but not in DA/SA.

2 questions

(1) Is it very hard to find a Sig 220 in DAO or DAK?
(2) Can you compare the Sig SAO or DAK with the Sig 220 DA/SA

Not sure if they are still available, but SIG also had DAO trigger, that was not a DAK, and it was (at least the one I had) quite nice. More like a DA guns DA trigger, without the SA capability. Mine was in a P245, the compact version of the P220 at the time.

Theres also the P250's, but their triggers are a little different. Not bad, and actually, quite nice, but I know a lot of people dont like them.

Id call SIG and see if they still offer the non DAK DAO trigger. If thats what youre looking for.

I'd ask what about the SIG appeals to you if you don't like DA/SA. Is it the ergonomics?

its a factory recertified police trade in. im considering sending it in for the D/A-S/A and decocker conversion... if it doesn't cost me a kidney to do so.
