Sig 1911-45 Spartan?

Was at my local FFL today and found a couple of interesting, unfired but expensive guns. (from a collector that was having them consigned when I was there)

Unfired special Python for over 3k. Stopped listening after hearing the price.
H&K P7M8 unfired for 2k+ would love one but can't afford that.
Sig 1911-45 Spartan or something like that. Unfired kind of a purple finish on it. The Sig kind of picked my interest but its still at $1150.

Does anyone have one and are they worth buying for the money?

Regards as always

I'd never pay anything close to that kind of money for a Sig 1911. The cheapest Sig 1911 is a fair enough (not great) value, but all Sigs use very mediocre small parts compared to the best production 1911s. At $1,150, you're already at or above the cost of a Dan Wesson Heritage or an STI Trojan on GB, both much higher-quality options than anything from Sig's lineup. Just a bit more and you're moving into TRP territory, with a stainless Valor residing a bit further up the ladder.
