shrouded vs hammerless

It's shrouded vs. concealed.
Both have hammers. A shrouded revolver frame has high sides to prevent the hammer spur, which can be seen, from snagging on clothing. Concealed frames have completely enclosed hammers. They are frequently referred to as hammerless.
