Showed my XD9 SC a little love today

This is my nightstand gun and I think I finally have it to where I want it. I added the Streamlight a little while back along with a Powder River trigger kit. I took it to the range last week and was wanting a pearce mag extension. I picked one of those up as well as the Talon grips. I also put some Glow-on paint on the sights. I really didn't like the plain white dots so I figured I would give it a try. If the paint doesn't work I will invest in some nice night sights. Sometimes I forget how much I really like this gun.

 
Any chance you saved the original baseplate?

My XD subcompact came to me with a Pearce extender on the short magazine. The original owner did not retain the old baseplate. And I don't care for the extender.

I'm glad you like it. By me, with the extra length you have on the grip, and with the light hanging off it, you may as well just have the service size.
 
I do have the original base plate but I'm going to keep it for now. I don't have the service size because I carry it once in a while, without the light of course. I like the balance of it and the shorter slide. I have full size guns for target fun as well.

I have worn my XD40 Service IWB a few times. It was actually not all that difficult.
 
Different bodies can do different things. I can't do IWB at all with anything and I've tried. I much prefer OWB
