A while back in another thread it was suggested to show our our collections of 22s. Let me get that thread started.

So here are mine.

Handguns are:
S & W 22a - semi auto
Heritage single six
Chipmunk bolt action - single shot

Rifles are:
Older bolt action Stevens
Henry Lever in 22 lr
Ruger 10/22

As I peruse this list it occurs to me that I need a pump action to round this out.

Live well, be safe

Marlin Model 60:

(and yes it really does look that good in person-had it for years and love it)

Is this thread for .22 Magnums too?
Here's a pic of a weekend project result... I decided I would never carry my NAA mini-revolver in it's fold-up-in-the-hollow-grips form. So I used BONDO to fill the hollow in and also make it completely rigid 'cause I prefer it that way.

(I'm not going to fret about the spring in the grip... Won't be shooting this much at all... It's just an emergency self-defense last-resort gun for me...)

Then I covered the hinge-pin and the indented button-holes with simple generic medallions on both sides to make it kinda tend more towards elegant (all things considered...).

I also didn't like the accidental-discharge possibility if it gets dropped directly on the hammer so I made a rigid pocket holster which amply covers the hammer yet is fairly blunt on the business end so as not to wear a hole in my pocket. I made it soft on the outside for comfort and in-pocket stability.

(It's kinda unique... Not for everyone, I know... But I like it.)

I have too many to post all at once. How about a couple of odd ones?

Daly lower with a Colt 22 conversion unit upper. I call it The Dolt. Faux ivory stocks scrimshawed with a personal design and a small diamond mounted on the right side. Doesn't everyone have a diamond studded 1911? Almost looks like a 22 Gold Cup.

A custom built Stoeger "Artillery" Luger 22.

Of course I have a regular one, too.

Just got this one. An M1 Carbine 22. It's a hoot.

A Stevens 22 from around 1914. Paid $11.50 for it at an auction. Refinished the wood and metal, replaced a couple parts, total investment about $22.

A 30" barrel and weighs a ton.

I have several other rimfire firearms, this is the newest addition in .22LR. It is a Smith & Wesson Model 22A-1.

My kind of thread - beauteous - hang on. Unfortunately, have parted with a lot, but still have a few left. We doing .22 magnum, too or just .22lr?

I was gonna buy one of those Chiappa M1 carbine .22s, until I found out how much plastic is all over it. $225 would be about right for that much plastic, not the $350 or whatever it is they want for them. Still, fun gun, I bet.

Don't have any pictures, but here goes.

Ruger Single Six Convertible
Browning Buckmark
Ruger M77-22
Marlin 39A
Winchester 9422
CZ452 Trainer
Anschutz MPR64

I've owned dozens of 22's...literally. These days I'm down to just two, a Ruger "Wally World Special" 10/22, and a Ruger 50th anniversary Single-Six.

1973 Colt Peacemaker. Less than 60 rounds fired according to the guy I just bought it from. Appears to be true. No mag cylinder or box, unfortunately.

I've got my K22 revolver and M&P 22 semi auto in the way of handguns, and my wife just ordered a CZ 455 FS for me which I am incredibly excited about. I'll get some pictures up when it finally comes around.

Fire Storm 22lr made by Bersa for FS. Bought it used, but in excellent shape just over 3 of years ago.

Ruger

I love my Ruger MKII. It is a 10 inch Barreled target model that was given to me by my granfather. He bought it to hunt groundhogs out west. I did an extensive reveiw of it a few year ago as a writing exercise. I LOVE this gun. It shoots like a champ, looks great and is a heirloom. It is a bit cumbersome to carry, but you get used to it petty quick despite the huge barrel. Someday when I have spare money I will have a friend that does leatherwork create a nice sheath for it.
