Show of Hands. Who's going to the March in WDC?

Well folks, I intend upon being there, quite possibly with several in the car with me.
Any "Patriots" from here going to be there also?

Open for suggestions on preparedness to such an event. I don't plan on staying in DC proper, but somewhere between Hagerstown, and DC.

Best Regards,
Don

Sorry about the delay in responding.
Had computer problems last night, worked OT today.
Got home and found out my Father had lost another sibling this morning to the reaper...

Anyway, the info I was referring to is as follows.
They need all the support they (WE) can get on this thing. For the record, if I recall form an earlier TFL posting, the MMM was scheduled for the same day, and fizzled out because of lack of support/commitment??

Second Amendment Sisters is holding the Armed Informed Mothers' March
(A.I.M.M.) on Sunday, May 14, 2000 in Washington DC. Our goal is to
provide a strong pro-Second Amendment presence at a crucial moment in
history, to let everyone know that our Second Amendment Rights are
NON-NEGOTIABLE.

While we have many dedicated volunteers, things still require good
old-fashioned American currency. Our primary expenses will include
providing information on a timely basis, and obtaining liability
insurance and facilities rentals for the Armed Informed Mothers'
March. Any amount will be of help.

PLEASE GIVE WHAT YOU CAN! You may conveniently donate with your
credit card at our web site:

http://www.i-charity.net/sw.cgi/1097/1562/vip=12781

You will also find there the list of people who already contributed
to our campaign, their comments and stories, and additional
information about the march. Donations by checks or money orders
can be made at the address below.

Please help us to preserve our freedom. Your future depends on it.

Thank you,

Million Mom March made front page of E section in today's paper. Very favorable (to MMM) article depicting "Nancy Telfer's grief and anger over her son's shooting propel her into the Million Mom March in Washington"

We have a lot of "soccer mom's" in the area too. Many with too much time and money on their hands. Also DC is only a ca. 5 hour drive.

I was skeptical, but this may not bode well for their having a poor turnout.

Anyone else have similar story???

Cheers!
