I thought I'd make another attempt at trying to take some decent pictures. This time I got a little art-sie fart-sie.

Those are some nice compositions there dude. Fun to view.

Hey, I just had a thought! If you have your frame nickel plated and refinish your grips in Uberti flaming red you'll have a red, white & blue "Patriot Edition" of the 1858 Remington!

:D

Just kiddin,
Oly

Nice pics! I wish I had the $$ for one of those right now, I know they're on sale and a great buy.....oh well....beautiful pistol. Maybe I'll get around to posting some nice ones of mine and my new euroarms Remington (Thansk Somokin Gun) :D

HAHAHAHAHA that is great

Wonderful pictures Clem

"be doing weddings"

oh madcrate that was cold............funny but cold.

Clem who did the CC and the fire blue?
I am in process of having a Uberti 1860 done that way now and when I find a Uberti Remmy probably the same.

Have you shot it? blue hold up well??

Hello grymster2007,

Could you please tell me more about that "pocket model"? I have been searching for some brand/model with that kind of trigger and guard but only found the hidden triger ones.

Thanks!

That's not a pocket model. It's '58 Remington New Model Army in .44. I do have an 1863 Pocket Remington (.31 caliber). It has a spur trigger. Is that what you're looking for?

Clembert,

That first photo, a little saddle, the flag, that was great composition.

The Doc is out now.

PS, but, was anybody else thinking that a hot gal with a little bikini or no bikini would have been a lot better???

Yeah, but when hot, bikini clad women are armed, I get more nervous about rebuffing their advances. :p

Hello grymster2007,

I ask because it seems to have a very short barrel, more like the pocket models. What brand/manufacurer is that one, and how long is the barrel? I like it :D

Thanks grymster2007, but im unlucky because im from Spain :D.

For blackpowder we need a license here, I will contact my dealer to see if he can export any. The price of an Euroarms 1858 here is.. ~$380!
