Shout Out to Frankford Arsenal

It wasn't my fault...honest!

My Frankford Arsenal Perfect Seat Hand Primer fell off my loading bench while I loading the just primed cases. Just like buttered bread, it fell where the most damage would occur. Right on the priming tray. It didn't break it, but the feed neck was bent. I could bend it back into position, but since then my primers get hung up passing from the tray into the tool.

I contacted Frankford Arsenal via web asking how much for a new tray... after all, these must be expendables, though not by design. Covid delays notwithstanding, my request was in the queue, and they got back to me for my address...not for my credit card.

I never expected, nor did I ask for a free replacement...especially since it really WAS my fault. Nonetheless, my replacement tray arrived today and it is beautiful.

In case you weren't aware, Frankford Arsenal is a brand belonging to American Outdoors Brands, Inc. (AOUT). Publicly trading since their spinoff from Smith & Wesson (SWBI) last month.

"American Outdoor Brands Corporation, formerly known as Smith & Wesson Holding Corporation until 2016, is an American manufacturer of firearms and outdoor sports and recreation products. It owns 18 brands. Its principal brand is Smith & Wesson firearms."

Someone needs to update Wikipedia. But I find it humorous you need to keep fact checking me. American Outdoors Brands and Smith & Wesson Brands are completely separate companies. As I pointed out in my first post, they separated last month. For further clarification, Smith & Wesson Holding Company (SWHC) renamed itself to American Outdoors Brands, Inc. after purchasing Crimson Trace and other brands, trying to re-focus on a much bigger market than firearms. It didn’t work. Recognizing the need to rebuild the Smith & Wesson brand identity they changed the name back to Smith & Wesson Brands, Inc, then spun off the non-firearms brands as American Outdoors Brands, Inc at 1 for 4.

I have a few Frankford Arsenal products. They have all worked as designed and desired, so I've never had a reason to reach out for support. But it is certainly encouraging to hear that they are top notch when it comes to support.

Normally I decided to use their brand due to features and price. I wonder where their stuff is manufactured?
