Should there be dress codes in school? (firearms related)

Websense filters this as "adult content" so I don't know what it is.

It's a video in a school setting (seems to be something a school board would pass out) where a teacher is discussing the benefits of changing dress code to a uniform.
It shows a student wearing baggy jeans and an un-tucked baggy t-shirt (as most kids do in middle/highschool).
The student is standing still, not looking awkward in the least.
Then he starts to remove all the weapons he's concealing under his "baggy dress".
I lost count but he had at least 15 pistols. He had a full size shotgun, he had so many things I lost count and will not be able to list at this point.
It was amazing to me how this kid (who by body size I could only guess is about 15-17) held so many weapons.
The website on which I found the video was posted in another thread here, and I kept searching through the movies (bored late in the evening) and stumbled upon this.
There are a few adult related things on this site however your told before you click on something if it's adult related. They have a small archive of funny/shocking/interesting videos.

I like the ideas of uniforms in schools. Schools aren't the place to make fashion statements, nor are they the place to show how much money your parents have.

One of the reasons I fell in love with the Army (I joined at 17), was that it was the first time in my life I was judged based on what I could do, not what I could buy. Everybody wears exactly the same stuff, has the same haircut and so the field is leveled. I believe social skills are better developed when there is a uniform standard.
If schools are to teach our children to function in society, then they ought to teach them by laying out some standards of dress for their kids. Next- we can work on truancy and attendance, but now I'm happy if we could just get uniforms.

I count 9 handguns (ranging from a couple NAA mini .22 revolvers to a .357 magnum) an ingram and a mossberg 500 with an 18.5 barrel.
Me thinks that walking would be a trick for this kid.
except for the mossberg, this kid has horrible taste.
all I can say for dress codes is that uniforms suck. They should have and enforce rules on sagging and overly baggy clothing and shirt length. I hate it when I see a guy walking down the hall with his pants down at his knees and his shirt just above his knees. If their parents aren't going to teach their kids that dressing like that makes you look like a dumb*** then the school should.

I have no problem with uniforms and I am a borderline proponent of them.
However, I most assuredly do not think schools should enact a uniform code based on the possibility that a student might be able to conceal some weapon under “normal” clothes. Laws (or rules in this case) that attempt to prevent an individual from doing something that is already illegal (or against the rules) are only an infringement on personal freedom and yet another attempt to excessively control people. People will always find a way around a rule or law if they want to. A student carrying a gun into class is illegal or it isn’t, no additionally rule is needed to try and prevent them from bringing a gun with them.

No way the textile and shoe industry would let a uniform idea fly....... Think of all the money they would be missing out....... Some of the brats in my *kids (*brats too) schools have more money in daily footwear and garments than I spend on my jeans and t-shirt closet the whole year. Just think of the fine shooting products that money would have better been spent on? Just makes me angry - such a waste.............

Oh, If my kids read this they would egg me right johnie on the spot......but then dear old dad gets even... hahahahaha.......

Forget uniforms. Its best to close the schools in favor of homeshooling with internet assistance. What worked in 1885 Boston is outmoded and inefficient in 2005.
