Was at the gun show this weekend and saw three revolvers I really liked but didn't buy. I don't know squat about wheel guns and wasn't sure if the price was right or not.
1. Taurus 85, typical snubbie, decent condition $200.
2. Another Taurus 85..or so the box said...but the barrel looked an inch or so longer than the new 85's. Had that piece under the barrel (underlug?) and some pins in it. Was owned by a woman who was there selling it privately. Asking $250 with a holster and extra grips. Immaculate condition. Almost bought that one but neither Taurus felt right in my hands.
3. S&W Model...I forget. 16 or 19 I can't remember. Was .357, medium framed?, awesome grip, adjustable rear sight, orange front sight, 6-shot, blued., around a 4" barrel. Kinds looks like the new 686. This gun fit great, felt great, perfect balance. I loved it, just didn't have $300 for it. Someone help me... I need to know what it was..it's DEFINATELY going on my "To Buy" list.
