Should I buy it?

I posted this question over at AR15.com, but have heard from an unidentified source, that you guys might have some better answers for me. Shh, don't tell anyone!

I live in in WI, and am 19 years old, almost 20. This means I won't be able to purchase a handgun from a dealer for 1+ year. The only way I am able to purchase one, is through an in state private sale. I came across this by accident...

Ruger P85 MKII(9mm) Will sell it with three 15 round mags, black basketweave holster, double mag carrier, basketweave duty belt, speed loader, original plastic case and manual, and will throw in 4 boxes of ammo... Guy wants 350.00...

Is this a decent price? Do you think it would suit me for my first handun? Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks!

Please don't preach to me about it being against the law. It is NOT, It is legal, and I have done extensive research, including a letter to the state Attorny General.

Turns out I met a guy at the range, and got to shoot my first centerfire handgun. A 45/70! :D It was a blast.

Incidentally, I also have the oppurtunity to purchase a P95 for 350.00 with to 10 rounders... I may also have my Dad get me a handgun for my 20th birthday (also LEGAL) Some of my ideas were, XD-9, 92FS, CZ-75, Walther P99... Any thoughts on these for my first? They always say you remeber your first!

Thanks!

It sounds like a good deal to me. If he let you shoot one of his other guns, see if he will let you shoot this one before you buy it. I have one of the first P85's that had so many problems. It made quite a few trips back to Ruger before it was fixed. The only thing that is original on it anymore, is the frame and magazines, everything else was replaced. While mine is not pretty to look at it will now shoot anything I can put through it.:)

Hey Pvt. Joker-

Jump on it, as it seems like a good deal to me. .
