It's all part of a subrosa anti conspiracy to deprive you of your Contitutional rights. That or communism is alive and kicking in the Kremlin.
 
One of the SGW mods posted on the face book page that he tried calling Jay yesterday and couldn't get through.

How are you east coast folks doing?
 
Talked to some buddies on the East coast today. From what I have heard, power is still out from Richmond VA up through CT. It likely goes further into NC and further north, but I don't have contacts there. From what they have said, it looks like it will be some time before power is back up.
This is when the campers pull out their gear and really shine:)

SGW has a Facebook page? I'm going to have to see if I can find it. If you hear anything, could you post here? I'm getting SERIOUS withdrawal symptoms.

Where I live in NW Ct, Irene was a non-event, but towns as little as 12 miles East or South of me got hit pretty hard and are without power.

My Brother lives about 12 miles South of me and has been without power since Sunday morning. He is sharing his portable generator with neighbors to keep fridges and freezers cold.

After my last post here I found the SGW page on facebook, and I am "in" now! :) I am on Facebook though I don't really know how to use it.
