Shotgun stocks

I have been eyeing a nice Maverick 88, but the standard stock that comes with it is junk. I have had a lot of aftermarket shotgun stocks, some good, some bad. Do any of you have suggestions on stocks that don't look stupid? If you got pics lets see em

I certainly could be wrong, but why buy a Maverick and have to replace the stock. I would think you would be bucks up in the game buying a better model or an 870 with better wood to start with.
