Shotgun/rifle combo

Please post your thoughts regarding the shotgun/rifle combos you've had experience with. I think one was made by Savage. What are some other brands. They seem to be very practical and utilitarian, let me know if this is so.

Thanks

Savage makes the model 24, Remington is importing another. Plenty of combinations that should serve your needs, from 22/410 to 30-06 /12 gauge.
Rossi and New England Arms are making single shots that have multi-barrels. there may be more I don't know about. Buy a Gun Digest or Shooters Bible.

I've had a Savage 22/410 several years it is a handy-dandy.

I did shoot a Savage .22/20-gauge combo gun many years ago, and I thought it would make for the ideal "truck gun."

Got two:

1. CZ/Springfield M6 Scout (discontinued), .410 bore & .22lr
2. Savage 24F, 20 ga & .22lr

Like them both, esp. the Savage. In bigger calibers, they are very practical when multiple species of game seasons overlap; in smaller cals, usefuls for rabbits/squirrels, etc.

I want a third - the Remington Spartan (Baikal) in 12 ga / .223 - the ultimate fall turkey hunting gun.

Several; 2 m-6 Scouts one blue, one stainless both .22hornet /.410. I have a .223 over a 20 gauge Savage 24 Savage and a .357 max over 20 gauge one too. My pride and joy is a Tikka 12ga over a .308 however, But I wish I could have a nice Drilling like my Uncle had but left to someone else- it was two 16ga over 8x57............

You might want to check your local laws about a combo gun. Some of the shotgun only States do not allow them in the field during Deer hunting

They're very useful to have around, like so many things that are jacks of all trades however they are masters of none. They tend to be heavy, and in centerfire rifle calibers run a bit on the expensive side. But for a trruck gun, a behind the door gun or a knockaround gun they are valuable. There's a 24C (.22LR over 20 ga. that takes down into a carrying case for packing/camping), a .30-30 over 20 ga. and a .223 over 12 ga. here...
