Shotgun Identification

I’m trying identify the manufacturer of this shotgun. It’s appears to be either Browning or Remington. But, there’s no manufactures name stamped on the gun. The only markings stamped are 20 GA. and Full on the left side of the barrel near the receiver. On the right side of the barrel near the receiver there’s an oval with R.E.P. stamped. Serial number is stamped in the left side of the receiver. I think that it’s a Remington Model 11, but not sure.

It has a cracked stock and I’m trying to find a replacement for it. Any info would help...... Hog

Could be a war time Browning. Remington made Brownings during WWII when the FN factory was taken over by the Germans. The serial number with a letter was stamped on the left side of reciever. The letter denoted the gauge.
 
No letters in the serial number, but it appears to be old enough. I hunted with a Remington Model 11 many, many years ago, but for the life of me I can't remember what identification marks it had stamped on it.
 
REP is a Remington proof stamp. It is not a war time Browning. Must be a Model 11. I find it odd that there are no other markings. Is there nothing else on the barrel, maybe under the forend? I have an early A-5 that is slick-sided like this one but it has FN and Browning patent info on the left side. Safety is at the front of the trigger guard also.
 
Nope. No other markings on it. The rest is slicker than a catfish. Your A-5 is an earlier model than this one, the safety in front of the trigger says that.

After discussions with others I’m more than sure the one I have is a Remington Model 11.
 
My son's handed down Remington m11 has a cracked buttstock, just like in your pictures.

His is a 12, where have you found stocks? Time for google.
