shotgun ammo-carrying vests

I used to see years back vests that had loops on the front to carry shotshells. They usually carried 25 or more shells. Anyone know where I can get one of these? I've thought about "tactical" vests like those from Blackhawk and those are good too. But this is just for shooting, know what I mean? So I'd rather have the loops exposed without them in a pouch covered by a flap.

Kevan,
Any sporting goods dealer should have these. They are generally called Upland vests. If you can't find them anywhere else check the Cabelas or Bass Pro websites under the Hunting Clothing sections.

The Cabelas shooting catalog doesn't have that type and my local sporting goods store doesn't either.

Tactical Tailor has an "Assault Vest" which has a shotgun ammo panel on the front of it, where you pull the main flap open from velcro points across the top and you have 24 rounds of ammo in loops easily accesible. The only detraction for you will be that it also has pouches for AR mags, etc, so it may not be exactly what you want. But have a look... Tactical Tailor TAC 1C Shotgun Vest

If you want to go cheaper, you can get a miltary web belt and an M16 mag pouch, cut the strips out that seperate the magazines and fill it with 12 ga ammo. I use a set up for work for my WIHTF gear that has 3 mag pouches, 2 hold AR mags, and one is full of 12 ga. I think you can fit like 40 rounds in one of those pouches.
