Shot the Neo today.

Shot my new Beretta Neo this afternoon. Loved it. At seven yard I was getting about three inch groups with my elbows rested on the bench. I put about 200 rounds through it and the only snafu were some FTF with Remington Thunderbolt ammo which is about par for the course with that ammo. I love where the mag release is (hold over from my displeasure on the S&W 22A mag release) and the styling is kind of Ray gun like. Fun stuff. I'm going to have a good time with my Neo and am sure it will stay in the collection for a long time.

I won't fault you for calling it a "Neo" - after all, it does look like something from the Movie Matrix.:D

I shot one once, maybe 7 years ago. It was a welcome break from trying to get the hang of a Magna-Ported J frame.

The man shooting it seemed just as happy as you are, and I don't even think it was new for him.

I do like the forward grip angle, I think it may be closer to how we naturally point with our index finger. Looks like the grip angle of lots of competition 22's.

The NEOS pistols are dandy little shooters,,,

The NEOS pistols are dandy little shooters,,,
But I have always found their front sight blade to be dismal.

I replaced the front blade with these fiber optic sights,,,
Now I can actually see the sight and I shoot my pair of NEOS' much better.

I have one n green and one in red,,,
Honestly I can't say which works better,,,
I like the green one best but that may be aesthetics. :o

You have a fine shooter my friend,,,
You chose wisely.

The Carbine Kit is made of unobtanium,,,

Now, go get the Carbine Kit for additional fun

I agree with this,,,
It makes a cracker-jack rifle.

Unfortunately Beretta has discontinued the carbine kit,,,
Or at least that's the current lore on the web.

So if you want one and see one for sale somewhere,,,
Do not hesitate!

Buy it right then.

I paid $237.00 for my kit two years back,,,
I've turned down two $300-Plus offers for it.

NEOS with an S . . . :-)

Yes, Neos with an S. Missed that.

Aarond thanks for the tip on the front sight. For now i've put a scope on it and we'll see how it shoots.

A carbine kit sounds fun but a bit pricey. I suppose if I found on on the cheap I'd it just to have it.

The Neos is still new to me but I have a suspicion it will stay in the collection for good.
