Shot shells

I'm trying to obtain information, or even a list, on what I'll decribe as
Multi-functional cartridges. Those that were used with shot or a bullet.
For example the Maynard 55-100. I'm a novice collector and trying to
add to my "all brass" shot shell collection.

Appreciate any information.

Actually I'm trying to collect both obsolete and those still in production,
and either foreign or domestic. I've managed to find an 8, 10, 12, 14, 16,
20, 28, 24, 32, 36 (12mm), 410, and a 12/14 Greener Police. Some of the larger bore, such as 0,00, 2,4 and 6 gauge are a bit more than I can afford right now. I just recently found out about the older Maynard 55-100 black powder cartridge, and was trying to determine what others may fall into this category also. The biggest problem, as with any collecting, is to find out
what exists, what is available, and sigh, what a person can afford.
