I love this gun!! Fired smooth and the recoil was not as bad as I thought it would be. I was able to put 60 rounds through it and was using the 325 grain hornady ammo. The only problem I had was the trigger sliding up my finger which caused a cut on my trigger finger. Cant wait to try the 400 grain ammo. Does anyone know if they make a trigger wrap or guard " Like a plastic tubbing" to go over the trigger to prevent my finger from getting cut. Thanks..... Jeff

A pair of Uncle Mike's shooting gloves will probably do the trick...how does the recoil compare to the 44M. I haven't shot it yet.

I think a far better solution would be to take a small file and round off whatever sharp edges are cutting you, if possible. Then use a bit of fine sandpaper to polish it up again.

Ruger triggers fresh from the factory can have quite the sharp edge. I routinely take some medium grit emery paper and 'break' the edge, and then polish the edges and the face of the trigger with fine emery paper. This gives a nice feeling satin smooth trigger.

As far as the kick goes, I could shoot this gun all day long,. I rounded the trigger and guard- much better now. I think it kicks the same as the 44mag. It Is an AWESOME looking piece. The pics make it look ugly, but it is sweet when you see it in Person. Would buy it again!

Thanks alot, Jeff!! I have been struggling against the urge to get myself a .480 Ruger, and you just sent me over the edge!!

My wife is going to be pi**ed!!

Oh, well... She's been pi**ed before and I lived to tell! :D
