A friend was in town along with his Glock 36, and let let me fire off a few dozen rounds. It was a nice pistol, light and as accurate as my 1911 (or, as accurate as me, to be more precise). I can see where the trigger safety would save some time in drawing and firing.
There were just two things I couldn't get used to: the trigger pull, and the mag release button. I'm used to firing revolvers in SA mode or 1911's, so the trigger seemed very heavy. Also, I've gotten used to a certain grip on my 1911, and my thumb kept hitting the mag release and dropping the magazine a bit.
Those two problems could be overcome in short order. Now I can see why so many folks like those "ceramic, x-ray-avoiding, terrorist" guns.
