shot gun ID

hey all...I have a hammered double with the name W H Hamilton under the left lock. on the center rail of the barrels it has stamped Twist Belgium. 7539 is stamped on the receiver. the serial number I assume. can anyone help me with any info on this firearm?

Twist will stand for twist steel, an older method of making barrels during the black powder days. Unless it has been very well cared for, you will need a thorough check by a smith competent in that before any attempts are made to fire.

The easiest way to make them shootable is to have them sleeved by someone like Nigel Teague or possibly a few here in the US
