Shooting sticks, tripods, monopods, etc

Anyone have a suggestion on a good hunting rest using shooting sticks, tripods, etc? What would be neat if someone made an attachment for a tripod that attaches to it for a gun rest. I wonder if anyone makes something like that?

What are you shooting and at what distance?
There are quite a few accessories that meet your need.
But the weapon, target and distance all make a difference.
There are quite a few tripod attachments that connect to a Pic. rail.

Will be shooting a 30/06 out of a window of a blind out to 300 yds. I have my feeders set up at 100, 200, & 300. I'm an older guy and it's getting harder to hold my rifle steady.

Caldwell makes the DeadShot ChairPod.

Hadn't seen that one before. Does it come with a masseuse and drink dispenser?

For shooting out of a blind I'd get a tripod. Maybe even an attached bi-pod if you have something to rest it on. They are too heavy and cumbersome for me to want to lug one around all the time. The mono-pods I find to be almost useless.

I do have some shooting sticks that I often carry in a day pack. I've practiced with them and been able to shoot MOA out to 500 yards. But you do have to practice. It isn't as steady as shooting off a bench. They are lightweight and collapse small enough to not be a burden. But from a stand I'd just get the more steady tripod.

Something like this

This is what I have. I use the 2nd one most of the time since it is so small and light, but have both types.

Without being you ,looking out your blind window, over your field of fire? I could recommend things that would not fit you,and would not be worth a hardly.
I suggest you go to your blind with your rifle.Figure out what is best for you to sit on.Is there any form of bench or table?
A hanger strap from above, ala huey door gunner?

Put a bunny ear bag on top of a camera tripod.

A small table to rest your elbows on. A sandbag or two to support your forarms. Good for your coffee and Pepperidge farm goldfish, too. A bag of powdered sugar donuts,a few krautburgers and a dozen tamales..Now you are set!
Look.Ponder.Drink coffee.Spend pre season time there.A simple, elegant plan will form in your mind. Make something. No need to spend money at cabelas.

A plastic laundry detergent jug with the pour insert removed from the neck makes a great used coffee deposit jug.You said you are an Old Guy.

Drape a heavy wool blanket over your chair before you sit down. You'll figure it out.Don't forget your slippers.
