shooting ranges (Seattle area)????

What do you want to shoot? Kenmore range (http://www.wcwinc.org/) is an outdoor range for rifle/pistol/shotgun. Also see this thread http://thefiringline.com/forums/showthread.php?t=449637 for a map of ranges and gunshops in the state. You should be able to find something nearby that meets your needs.

Lake Padden range is an hour north of Seattle in Skagit County. You can't beat nearby Kesselring's gun store for ammo, either. A tank of gas will get you a day in the country and gun fun to boot.
From what I've read and heard West Coast Armory indoor pistol/rifle range in Factoria is the best one near Seattle.

Wades in Bellevue is probably the nicest indoor range. A bit pricey but clean, well let well ventilated. Shopping there can be expensive. If you are looking for weapons or ammo LowPriceGuns.com is down the street from them and have rock bottom prices. If you're looking more North you can go to Kenmore Gun Range. It's been a long time since I've been there but I've been told that it is much, much improved. Further North there's Sam's Guns in Everett. Not the nicest, but a good range. Unless you're a member you can't shoot long guns there anymore.
