Shooting Ranges In Your Area

This is my first time in this part of the forum. But as I look thru these posts it seems that more people are looking for a place to shoot. I listed these in another thread, But I nominate this Thread for a "Sticky".

If you know of a List of Ranges, please post it here. Please don't put specific ranges, or your favorite place to shoot. We're looking for Search Information. Sites that help you find ranged in your area.

NRA: Select "Places to shoot" and enter your City, State.

This is a good one about 20 miles south of Richmond, Va. (Prince George County) in the triangle between Chester, Va., Petersburg, Va. and Hopewell, Va. I think its actually on the grounds of Ft. Lee, a U.S. Army base, but its open to the general public. I've never seen anyone in uniform there. However, because its on the base, and the military trains through that area, its only open on Sundays and possibly on Wednesdays. It's a very under-utilized firing range. I haven't lived in the area for ten years, but I used to shoot there all the time. Cheap to use and fired my own ammo.

A lot of people in the Richmond, Va. area seem to have trouble finding a place to shoot, particularly if they want to use their own ammo. They should try this one. It's an easy jaunt down 1-95 from Richmond. Check out the following hyperlink.

Does anyone here know of an outdoor range in either Highland or Hammond Indiana? It was a simple outdoor range with a dirt hill and two wooden tables/benches in a wooded area. I used to shoot there in the 80's but I can't remember where it is.

I just checked some of the ranges in our area that are listed on the cheaper than dirt site.
The contact info might be ok, but the maps are wrong.
Not even close to where the ranges actually are.

The youcancarry web site lists only a few per state.

The NSSF site had the most, but.............

None listed the huge county range nearest to us, or two indoor ranges in town.

The yellow pages and web searches seem to be more reliable, at least around here.

I would like to find a place in North NJ that is just a field and I can do whatever. By that I mean things like move around, rapid fire, and shoot at non-paper targets. Have yet to find one and starting to doubt it exists.
