Attempting to shoot an apple at a distance of 500 yards in variable winds of 7-10 mph. Jon the camera man (also spotter) helps me dial in a nice shot. Using the Savage 110 BA 338 Lapua shooting 300gr Berger OTM bullets at a muzzle velocity of 2740 fps. The first hit just grazed so we setup agian and get a decent apple head shot. If you enjoyed the video please share and hit that like button. As always, thanks for watching!

at out varmite shoots the 10x ring is 2" and .223 production class rifles hit it repeatitly when the wind is still. i know its not 500yds, but i saw a .400" three shot group at 300yds damn near center in the 10x ring. the varmit shoots are five shots at 200-300-500yds and you need to shoot in the mid 140,s to get into the winner circle. eastbank.
