Shipping hi-cap pistol mags to NJ

Can someone enlighten me to the legal implications of shipping hi-cap pistol mags to someone in NJ? Thanks, Monty

When I use to live in Jersey, I frequently ordered pre-ban hi-cap mags from various ads which meant that the companies selling them were shipping them to me in NJ. That doesn't make it right or legal but I always ASSUMED that it was. Additionally, I haven't kept up with what's been going on there since I moved so the laws might have changed in the couple of years that I've been gone. I realize that this doesn't help much but it's just my $0.02 worth.

Monty,
Magazines up to 15 round capacity are legal in Jersey. Recently, court rulings and the NJ Attorney General have stated that larger magazines may be blocked to the 15 round limit "by any means temporary or permanent". I would assume that the magazines would have to be blocked before they entered the state. I know that many mail order houses still will not send any over 15 rounds to Jersey, blocked or not.

Thanks gusgus, I did a little snooping NJ's legislature's web page and came to the same conclusion as long as it is up to date.

It's been close to 2 years since I left Jersey so things might be different now but when I lived there, there was never any problem with having 40-round and 50-round mags shipped to me from various companies (we're talking rifles here and not handguns -- with handguns, the biggest thing that I ordered were 15-rounders for my S&W pistols).
